Heart of the Mountain Guide
Looking for the most efficient way to grind Heart of the Mountain 10?
This guide covers everything you need, without unnecessary detours.
Note: This guide is not Ironman friendly.
Getting Started
Head to the Mushroom Desert and mine sand using a Golden Shovel with Efficiency II
until Mining XII. Then head to the Gold Mines and obtain the Lazy Miner’s Pickaxe.
Afterward, head to the Deep Caverns with 15 Enchanted Redstone from the Bazaar and
progress to Rhys to unlock the Dwarven Mines.
Heart of the Mountain (HOTM) is a skill tree in the Dwarven Mines that enhances mining abilities.
You earn HOTM XP by:
- Completing Commissions
- Participating in Mining Events
- Crystal Nucleus completions
Leveling HOTM gives Tokens of the Mountain, SkyBlock XP, mining stats, and powerful perks.
The first reset is free, later resets cost 100,000 coins.
Core of the Mountain bonuses are permanent and cannot be reset.
Powder is essential for HOTM perks and can be earned by mining, events, mobs, commissions,
chests, corpses, and daily tasks.

How to Mine Efficiently

- Use Pickobolus on large Mithril clusters to generate Titanium.
- If needed, manually mine Mithril until Titanium appears.
Punch Commissions
Just punch (it's fun!).

Goblin Commissions
Use a Mage weapon (Dreadlord Sword, Spirit Sceptre) to kill multiple quickly.
